HERE is a fantastic picture from 90-year-old Mr Reg Dale of the Yoxford School team from 1931-32. They were winners of the Halesworth Hospital Cup. Reg said: “The headmaster was Mr Jennings and I got the cane off him a few times I can tell you.

The reunion pictureLen has the answers to Town mystery

The interest I have received following the publication of the Ipswich Town gathering has been superb and thanks for that. Former Town man Len Fletcher contacted me with almost all the names of the players in the photo.

Memories are still firm

THE good news this week from the grassroots game was the re-launch of the Inter-Firm Cup in the Ipswich area. The Inter-Firm cup was always a popular event in the town and I remember playing in the final back in the 1980s for the East Anglian Daily Times against BT Research.

HELLO again and welcome to another Green'Un Gold. Well, this week I had a visit from Derek Davey and his wife Irene. They both kindly brought in this picture to the Green'Un offices of the victorious Whitton United 1959 Suffolk Senior Cup team.
